solitude, love.
2004-07-06, 9:33 p.m.

heyz..

once again. got past that thing that stops me from adding entry. don't ask me why i'm here again..guess i juz felt like coming to talk more crap..after reading some blogs..

i sense an internal struggle. stuff i wanna put but i won't. you gotta hold me at gunpt to get my to say it all out. then again, even if you do hold me at gunpt..i might not. whahaha.

then i shall talk about something in general. juz some random thoughts..

relationships..there're so many kinds, love between a man and a woman, love between parents and children, love between siblings, love between friends, even love between enemies. yes, enemies, if they don't love you one bit, why do they bother to hate you. =D i might start focusing unknowingly..if not i'll keep it general. i named 5 kinds of love, there're so many, as proven in Twelfth Night by William Shakespear. each love has different ways of showing themselves..between siblings, a share of candy or such. parent and child, the care shown, and in return obedience and more care. friends, looking out for each other, watching out for back-stabbers, lending a shoulder should there be a need to, lending a ear too. man and woman, the sweet nothings that's only for their ears, the exchange of promises that's for the well-beings of each other, the amount of pain that's twice felt, when the other's in pain etc.

no man's an island, guess what they meant by that is that no man would be able to live a healthy life, alone. normal, working, not healthy. emotionally, mentally. however, i thought about solitude. "although loneliness has always been a friend of mine", this is taken off a backstreet boys' song, when a close friend said how hard and even impossible it is to befriend solitude, loneliness. i thought about it..and i came to this conclusion. solitude is probably the best friend you can ever befriend. he's (assuming it's a he) always there when you're "abandoned" by your friends..and when they come back to you..he stands quietly in a corner..watching you in happiness..waiting to accompany you when the time comes..which friend can beat that? always there for you, rain, shine, mist, whatever. and i'm glad to say, solitude is my friend.

back to relationships. they are an amazing thing..bonds pple feel for each other, always this unseen link between them. cannot be touched, cannot be seen, something like what faith requires of one, but more real. for it can be felt, not with one's hands but one's heart. guess you can argue that one's link to his religion can also be felt by the heart..but isn't a relationship so common that it's felt by everyone? it's so common that people take it for granted.

think i'll stop here..all i've done was ramble..but it feels good. hehe. luv ya all!

Sapphire..
