listening to this song over and over again..yu jian by stefanie sun. probably because zhihong's blog plays the piano instrumental of that song..which of course is lovely. i mean..all instrumentals..esp. piano. are lovely. hehe.
kinda missed this song..then again..i miss everything..me, my past, frens, old life..stuff like that..hehe. kind of in a reminiscing mood..gosh..i got that word spelt right at first try! didn't expect that. lolz. fine..my english sucks..so..sue me. =P should i get all philosophical-like again?
many people ask..what is life. get that alot esp. from churches. to them, life is juz a period of time when humans prepare themselves for life in heavens. something along those lines. =X and as you know..i'm not much of a religious person. superstitious, yeah a little..but religious..let's juz say, i try my best. =P so..i shall state what i think is and of life.
as they always say, lifelong learning. yes, i think that life is basically a long learning process. except that, the things we learn that i'm talking about here has nothing to do with academic studies, unlike what has always been implied when used. we learn something new everyday, in fact, lots of new things. unknowingly, we're learning about pple, their habits, their character, and more about their life. this is but one category of things we learn. let me elaborate on this first. think about it, as students, we go to school 5 days a week. we're bound to learn more about our fellow classmates, schoolmates, even teachers. but are we carrying this attitude, this feeling of, "i wanna learn more about them"? or does it all come naturally? it's the same as how if you like somebody, you'll pay special attention to that special one. stuff like that. as working adults, you learn more about your colleagues, your boss. you learn to watch out for their bad moods. esp your boss of course. (you don't want extra work do you? =P) besides pple, we learn more about things. the world is everchanging. there ain't many major changes each day. it's all happening gradually, slowing, inconspicuously. but it is happening. we're learning about its past in textbooks, seeing its present. and some, predicting its future. we're learning all these..slowly.
they say, life is short. cherish it, and as they've said, enjoy it while you can. while some take it to the extreme, everyone should realize how a little hard work now, accumulates into an enjoyable future. (btw, that's what keeping me going. =P) so after these two points, what have you got? life is short, meant to be enjoyable, and a learning process. life is about interacting with others, being with others. that's the reason why there's so many pple on earth anyway. =P yet i somewhat support loneliness. though life is meant to be shared..i think there juz are parts meant to be kept to yourself..maybe to your counterpart in the future. (now for conclusion) so in conclusion, life is a learning process, a time to enjoy and prepare for more enjoyment, a time to share, your joy etc. with other pple, a time to know when to be alone, to think, to ponder, to worry, and in the end, to solve everything. =) now..that's life. =D
juz a note on something i've noticed. the cutest guys i've seen, in comics, life..but more of comics. life lack them. =X anyway, back on that. those guys tend to have rather androgynous faces..the kinda that if they go drag, they look prettier than average girls. (that's me. ahhh. jealous! =X) hehe. that's about it. cyaz pple!
