070707 as death anniversaries..
2007-07-08, 5:12 p.m.

A coffin does not hold elderly's bodies, but dead bodies.

One would think such a quote is just stating the obvious, but when i heard it, i realized this underlying assumption. That it is always the old people who die. Amazing how many people have this subconscious thinking. Why am i on this topic of death again? There has been an accident. 070707 at around 4pm, two kids, age 15 and 16 died when their motorcycles collided into each other. The 15-year-old was speeding. As their ages suggest, neither of them holds a license. Maybe it's a good thing Singapore's so strict on the people who can be on the road.

My cousin knew them personally, it's a shocking incident, yet very awakening to the senses. I speed too, somewhat illegally, 'cause without helmet and the P plate. Sometimes i'm quite cautious, and sometimes i just don't care. I've been lucky i guess. Yes it's luck, not just techniques. Kor told me about his friend who was also in a motorcycle accident in S'pore. His friend is in a coma (if i'm not wrong, kor correct me), and destined to die or be a vegetable. Accidents on newspaper doesn't just happen to "everyone else", they happen to anyone.

And if asked whether i fear death, i guess i do, i would hate to bring the anger, guilt, sadness and such emotions to those people who care about me. I drive alot these days, and no, i don't drive slow.

BRAIN BLOCK. Thinking about things i have to do today, which is alot. So i'll stop here and head home this instant. See ya!
That was random
