Europe '08 Day 5
2008-10-14, 9:26 p.m.

Day 5, 28/04/08

Started off with being unable to get outta bed. Freezing cold. Finally out and showered, brrr, breakfast! City tour started at 8.15am. This nice Spanish-Jaimacan lady was our guild and took us to town. I saw...Arc of Triumph (self explanatory), Eiffel Tower (i had lunch there), Cathedral of Notre Dame (yesyes, you know the hunchback of Notre Dame? =D), Invalides (army hospital + war museum + burial grounds of Napoleon) (Note: Lol check out the name too. =O), many many other churches/ cathedrals, ex-palaces and such, and not forgetting, the Louvre. We took a 3 hour walk inside, apparently, it would take one 2 months of days & nights to complete the ovefr 6000 exhibits (assuming they were not rotated). Saw the Venus de Milo, Mona Lisa, the coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte and many others. Moulin Rouge! Small. -.-

Saw the HUGE LV ( from the ouside, unfortunately ), hugo boss, dior, ritz carlton, this huge gap and such, to name just a few. Must come back and shop.

Apparently, the niht scenes are so beautiful that it is easy to fall in love with the one you walk with. Cities of Love - Venice and Paris.

I personally think the french kings spent a lot fon monumental (aka pleasing to the eye (or not) and nothing else) things. There were a lot of gold in the ceilings of the cathedrals and the Louvre. Da Vinci was Italiam. Saw their red light district too, nothing impressive after the Amsterdam one. Same for their Chinatown.

Finished a storybook i picked up from the hotel shelves. <3ed it. At a lost of what to buy for many people, especialyl my love. >.< Missing him.. >.<
