Europe '08 Day 2

Day 2, 25/04/08
I just came out from an hour long shower, actually longer than that i think. Wonderful bathtub and a good hot soak is just what i need after a long freezing day. Hee. Pretty tired but to jot down what i wish to first.
Day started off with a good breakfast and a trip to the Van Gogh (pronounce va-n-hoggg) and learnt more about this artist than i ever did in art class. It was enriching to say the leavt. The canal ride to and fro in the city was..cooling. Lol. Quite fun but uber slow. Then we went down to the Dungeons. Oooooh fun. Wasn't scary though i was mightily impressed with the actors and actresses. Learnt about the plague, inquisition, tavern, ship lives and that woman's house and the small maze of mirror was fun.
Then we went down to Chinatown for dinner, had duck rice and such for dinner. The servings were HUGE. Then though we'd intended to go to the red light district, we stumbled into it, it was a street away from Chinatown. Lol. It was an experience. Women wearing mostly just bras and panties or bikinis or such standing behind glass doors flaunting their ware. The streets are lined with sex shops, theatres showing all kindas of pornography and such. Apparently gay escort services are available too. The women were generally pretty. =) The sex shops looked interesting, definitely better than s'pore's. They had nice kinky clothes from what i saw. Lol.
Okay, last part private. Lol. The person who was supposed to see this, has seen it. =D
