Wheeeee, and today was another 6-7 hrs on the rink. Have i improved? No i don't think so. Lol, sharpened my skates some time in between after someone had kindly redid my laces because both of them complained that it was too loose. Then had to get used to the fact that plowing just got harder. Angle had to be changed to minimize the amount of increased force needed to do the same thing. Right plow as cmi as it was. Oh well. Relearned crossover on hockeys, was scary, thank yous to the helpful people who were very encouraging. Not that much thanks for the ice kachang i received today though. Record amount i swear. =.= Like ice in hair without me sitting on the floor. It's all in the name of fun. Just don't overdo it. Grrrr. =P
Jap classes getting tough, there are way too many particles in their language, and the fact that they use chinese characters (kanji) just complicates matters because their pronounciation is way different and the writing is the old styled. I can read, but i can't write. Lol. Now we've got to learn how to read and write katakana (jap letterings used in "imported" words, i.e. milk = miruku) too! It's tough, but it feels really good when i can actually read those jap words on the streets, or on wrappers and such. Never thought i'll be able to do that, because while i could read romaji fluently (because it's really easy), i could never get myself to memorise those fanciful artworks of the japanese. It's not gonna be an easy path to walk on, this japanese learning thing, but as before, i'm very glad i've got aloy walking with me. He's been very quiet these few days though, abit worried. He can take care of himself! Lol. That was meant for myself more than any of you reading. =P I've got a wonderful jap teacher too! She's pretty. =X Okay, that's beside the point, she hands us all these extra work that basically meant we could and would learn more if we were hardworking enough and i'm feeling so motivated. But, no homework for today, too tired. Skate and jap classes shouldn't go hand in hand, but feels like i don't have much of a choice for the next three weeks. Actually, even if i had the choice, i think i'll still go. Lol. =) Oh dear, back on the topic of ice skate. Lol. And i saw the bauer one 90 today, so pretty!! Rich boy owning it. Duh. Need get guards soon, or anything that can protect my poor fingers from the blades while carrying them. Ouch. Uncalled for cuts. =/
Okay, so what's beside these two. Nothing much, i do need to arrange time for a few meeting-ups with old friends. Have postponed them long enough. So this sunday on ar! 3 of you reading this are involved! =P Oh school! School's alright, 3 chinese lecturers this time for this semester's modules. One's very strict but humourous, the other's very lax but also is humourous. Quite a contrast. There's tuition tomorrow! I really need to rest soon. Okay now. Lol.
